How to easily mint NFTS on Avian Network?
This article serves as a comprehensive guide for anyone interested in minting assets / Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on Avian, including our existing user base. It provides an in-depth look at our latest infrastructure enhancement — the NFT Asset Marketplace. This upgrade is designed to simplify the process and provide a platform where asset minting is possible beyond the confines of the primary core wallet. Our aim is to streamline the user experience and make the creation of NFTs more accessible to all.
To prepare for minting NFTs on Avian, the primary requirement is an image file. This could be in any common format such as JPEG or PNG, which you wish to convert into an NFT. Unlike the process in the core wallet, where an IPFS hash is required, our marketplace handles this aspect, simplifying the process for users.
Additional elements such as a title and description can be prepared in advance. However, we encourage creativity and spontaneity, so feel free to create these elements on the spot if you prefer.
Start by creating an account:

Navigate to the login / signup page
Click create account
Make sure to use a strong password
Once you are signed in, you would need to deposit AVN used to mint NFTs
This is done by navigating to the Deposit AVN section, which will display unique address for your account on which you would deposit any funds.
Make sure to send only AVN to that deposit address.
Await 10 network confirmations which is approximately 5+ minutes.
After the deposit has completed, navigate to the Avian Emporium Token section:
What is the Avian Emporium Token?
The Avian Emporium Token serves a dual purpose: it acts as a safeguard against misuse of the platform and establishes an equitable ecosystem for minting. It also exemplifies how the marketplace can be utilized for minting tokens with distinct utilities.
The Avian (AVN) is employed to mint assets on the network/blockchain. Its still used an burned in the backend.
Emporium token is acquired through a spot buy order, the primary objective of the token is to deter abuse and establish a level playing field for all creators. This ensures a fair and balanced environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
Once you purchase the token you will be able to see its balance on your account in the main navbar:
Next step is to navigate to the collections page:
When creating a collection, enter the name and royalty that will be received in every future sales of an asset
Once you click save, you can edit your collection by clicking on it
You can upload your image, banner, edit description or add links
And the final step is minting of the nft:

Now we have everything set up, and we can mint NFTs/assets/tokens

On the create nfts page, there are two options, first one is for unique NFTs Whilst the other one contains option for minting tokens, to make the guide shorter, specific details are visible on the options in the marketplace
Choose one you would prefer, and fill in the form
Once you click Buy & Create NFT, the creation process will start
Note that it can take up to 24 hours for your NFT to show up, as it needs to be checked for explicit content.

Once it's minted and approved, you will have full control over the newly created NFT. In the meantime you can mint as many as you want, they will be approved in batches, so you don’t have to await for each one to be approved before minting another one.
What if i created an asset through the core wallet, and handled all of the minting myself, can i still trade it on the marketplace?
Yes, absolutely, you can deposit any manually minted NFTs to use them in the functionality of the marketplace. Details for this are available in Deposit NFT tab:
